Overview

Passionate Soccer Coach creates player-development tools for players, parents, and coaches. This policy applies to SoccerMind, MatchIQ Player Development, SoccerReflect, and PlayerPath, together referred to as the “Apps.”

We designed the Apps to support learning, reflection, match analysis, goal setting, and personal development while limiting the information collected.

Information the Apps may use

Depending on the App and the features you choose, information may include player-entered goals, journal responses, training activity, match notes, development plans, progress, preferences, and video or performance information you choose to add.

App information is intended to remain on the user’s device unless a feature clearly explains that an account, backup, upload, or synchronization is required. When a future feature needs information to operate, we will collect only what is reasonably necessary and explain the purpose.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide and improve the selected App experience, such as displaying saved reflections, organizing goals, creating development plans, tracking progress, analyzing user-provided performance information, and supporting requested features.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, and the Apps do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Storage, sharing, and security

Where information is stored on the device, it is protected by the security features of that device. If an App later offers accounts, cloud backup, synchronization, or user-requested sharing, appropriate safeguards will be used and this policy will be updated.

We may use service providers only when necessary to operate an App. They may process information solely to provide that service and must protect it appropriately. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users, rights, and safety.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should protect their devices, use device passcodes, and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into reflections or notes.

Children and families

The Apps support youth player development. Parents and guardians should supervise a child’s use and help the child avoid entering unnecessary personal information.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. If you believe a child provided personal information that should not have been collected, contact us and we will review and delete it as appropriate.

Your choices and data deletion

You can stop using an App at any time. Information stored only on a device can generally be removed by deleting entries, using available in-app controls, or deleting the App. Deleting an App may permanently remove locally stored information.

To ask what information we hold, request a correction, or request deletion of App data associated with you or your child, email hello@passionatesoccercoach.com. Please name the App and describe the request. We may need to verify the request before acting.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when an App, legal requirement, or privacy practice changes. The revised policy will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice when required.
